Merge Stone Ridge, New York. What a wonderful Eleven of my prints were on view in the barn galleries. I was thrilled to be included.

From my earliest print, Books dating from 1994 to the series of prints seen above: House I, House II, House III, published in 2018.
What struck me immediately is that I had not see the three House prints on the wall in frames as a group.

Based on three drawings of the same titles, seen here (House I, House II, House III
Deepest thanks to Jim Stroud who has and Janine Wong  Lisette Wong and Reinhold Spiegler

For those interested, recovering from a glitch that has restoring blog entries on my website.  You can see an expanded post on this subject and other entries about printmaking.

Eleven of my prints were presented at Merge, Stone Ridge, New York, concurrent with Upstate Art Weekend 2025. The bucolic setting of the barn galleries were a perfect place to re-see my work. A key moment was my first encounter with my most recent mezzotints hanging together: House I, House II, and House III. I always hope such images educe what poet, Wallace Stevens has described as, “the aureole above the humming house”, and I was touched when two different visitors, in separate moments, said they have prints of mine, look at them often, and find them moving.

It’s a big honor to be included this installation of impressions by so many incredible artists who have collaborated with printer/publisher/artist, James Stroud over the past 40 years. Greatest thanks to Jim who has continually guided, challenged, and supported me since my first edition in 1994! And also to artist Janine Wong, Jim’s wife, who has contributed on so many occasions. Thanks too, to our hosts and supporters Lisette Wong and Reinhold Spiegler of Merge.
